The crunch and crash of banger racing returns once again to Hednesford Hills Raceway on Sunday, July 12 – with the added spice of Figure of 8 race action. Racing on the crossover is not seen too often these days, but no-one would argue that the format is one of the most hard-hitting and spectacular forms of motorsport in the world. Expect plenty of close encounters on the centre of the Cannock bowl as the drivers smash their way through to the chequered flag. It’s the second leg of a busy weekend for the bangers, as they are in action at Birmingham Wheels Raceway on Saturday evening as well, with even more Figure of 8 action. Why not make a weekend of it for yourself? Gates open at 10.30am, with action getting underway at 1.30pm. Admission is just £12 for adults and £6 children, with family tickets (admitting two adults and up to three children) for £30. Parking is available for £6 per car on a first come, first served basis – please arrive early if you wish to view the racing from your car – and a large free car park is provided outside the stadium. |
