Wyrley Ladies u17s and Reserves held their end of season presentations this year at The White Horse Pub, Cheslyn Hay, enjoying a sit down carvery as part of the night. Both teams enjoyed a great season playing sides like Stoke City, Stafford Town, Newcastle and Bradwell Belles. They were league winners at u17s on a Saturday, playing in the Premier Division of the Central Warwickshire League, and finalists in the League Cup and winners on a Sunday in Staffordshire County Women’s League. The Players Player of the season for both teams was Leanne Mitchell, and Managers Player for both teams was Natasha Lilly. Sophie Sharrock was top goalscorer for u17s with 33 goals, with Leanne Mitchell was top goalscorer for Ladies Reserves with 39 goals in the league this season and four in the cup. Both managers Martin Whitehouse and Martin Millard are proud of what the teams have achieved this season. |
