Three Lions roar past Brazil

21:45, Feb 6 2013

Frank Lampard's second-half strike earned England their first win over Brazil for 23 years with a 2-1 success in the friendly international at Wembley.

England goalkeeper Joe Hart denied Ronaldinho a goal on his 100th appearance for Brazil with a double save from his spot-kick, after man of the match Jack Wilshere was adjudged to have handled.

Wayne Rooney scored his 33rd goal for his country before half-time and, after Fred had equalised early in the second period, Lampard struck his 27th goal for the Three Lions to settle the issue.
