After early MKD pressure in which the recalled Clayton Ince saved well from former Walsall winger Mark Wright, the visitors kept the home team quiet and began to look capable of winning their final away game. Fittingly, the vital goal came from hard-working Jabo Ibehre who accepted a clearance from the excellent Anthony Gerrard in the 61st minute, turned a defender inside out then cracked a fierce drive into the net for his 11th goal of the season, ensuring MKD would have to compete in the play-offs. Suddenly Jabo has found his shooting boots - and what a good player he looks. The recall of Ince was also a key factor in the Saddlers'seventh away win.
