Pooch power at village hall

A dog Companion Show takes place at Shareshill Village Hall on Sunday May 31.

The event has been organised by Sedgley and Gornal Canine Association in aid of the Hope Appeal (Cancer research and treatment for dogs) run by the University of Cambridge Veterinary School Trust.

The show opens at 9.30am; judging starts at 11am.

There are various classes including pedigree and novelty classes.

There will also be handling classes for visitors aged six to 11, 12-16 and 17 years plus.

Entry fees are £1.50 pedigree, £1 novelty.

Rosettes will be awarded up to 5th place.

There will be various stalls and a raffle. Refreshments will be available.
